I began my career as a fashion and advertising photographer with a strong style centered around movement. Very quickly, I wanted to combine this fascination with movement with the female nude, as part of a personal project: WARRIORS.

The big difference with fashion photography is that with this project, I was able to bring my ideas to life immediately. Here, there's no makeup, no artifice. Just nudity and the immediacy of the moment. This impression of reality captured on the spot is manifested through the sincerity of the emotions expressed and the energy of these extended bodies. When the models I photograph nude interpret the poses I suggest, their minds are focused on one thing: how will they land? This extreme attention to the present moment explains the power emanating from these images. Quite instinctively, I added various accessories to these dynamic female bodies, elevating them into modern-day heroines. As Warriors. Since then, the WARRIORS project has spread its battlefields to Paris, Arles, Reims, and the Jura region.

The choice to photograph the models in black and white with a film camera and to strip down the setting as much as possible was an obvious one. Just like the choice to photograph them in the studio: warmth, comfort, space, feeling, and time provide the freedom I need to work. It's in these creative spaces that the most beautiful surprises emerge.
